Four-time U.S. Champion GM Yasser Seirawan will host a live lecture previewing players from the upcoming 2015 U.S. Chess Championships this Wednesday, March 11.

Hundreds of hours of FREE grandmaster lectures have given the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis one of the top-subscribing YouTube chess channels in the world!

To celebrate its more than 30,000 subscribing members, the CCSCSL will host its first-ever LIVE lecture on Wednesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m., led by the legendary GM Yasser Seirawan. A four-time U.S. Champion himself, Seirawan will lead this advanced lecture themed around the upcoming 2015 U.S. Chess Championships, highlighting games from several of our national title-hopefuls including GMs Hikaru Nakamura and Wesley So.

The CCSCSL will host the U.S. and Women’s Championships for the seventh-consecutive year from March 31 to April 14, 2015, with host Seirawan providing streaming live commentary through the Club’s YouTube and LiveStream channels, as well as the event’s host site www.uschesschamps.com.

The CCSCSL invites all its members worldwide to tune in to this free lecture on Wednesday night, and to join in on the discussion on Twitter using the hashtag #USChessChamps. Throughout the show, select comments and questions will be submitted to GM Seirawan as part of the lecture.

The CCSCSL also invites its local St. Louis members to come be a part of our live audience for the lecture, which will take place in the south bay of the upstairs tournament hall.
